Plasticell welcomes its newest PhD Research Assistant as part of the new ASCTN project

Plasticell are pleased to welcome our PhD Research Student who joins us as part of the new and exciting Advanced Stem Cell Training Network (ASCTN), a four-year project, funded by the European Union Horizon 2020 Programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Initial Training Network.

The project will address human stem cell-based neuronal disorder modelling and drug screening to develop new medicines for the treatment of neurological disorders (e.g. Parkinson’s, Huntington’s and Demyelination (DM) diseases) which occur as a result of acute or progressive loss of cells, glial or neuronal, and specialized structures in the brain.
